At least it appears the weather will cooperate Friday and Saturday. I'm supposed to fish next Tuesday and Wednesday with Eddie, weather is showing absolute shite for those two days next week. I won't bother making the drive if it doesn't get better. It's still along way out weather wise so maybe it will improve for me. Good luck, hope y'all crush 'em

Please report back after the trip

Went down this weekend, but didn’t fish for tuna. The charter boat broke down the evening before we were scheduled to go. Talked to some captains and they said it was very slow because of cold water.

Turned it into a redfish trip to save the trip. We limited out in less then 2 hrs in Delacroix.

Feels good to be on the board

One good day at the lump gonna knock us off the board though

Tunas have been slow slow as of last week. East lump was dead as of last weekend. Dirty green 65 degree water. Could find a handful of yellows offshore but mostly small ones. Lump should turn on soon one would think.

CP3 or others, what is considered the "east lump"? Can you provide lat/long? We fish out of Fourchon and I'm not familiar with that one

It’s like 30-35miles ENE of south pass.

It turned on today it looks like. They had some jumbos (150lb+) caught today

We ended up with a MEAN 146 lbs fish.
Tons of sharks and kings, went though a few boxes of hooks. Only a hand full of fish at the dock. But the ones that where there were big.

Eddies new boat is a rocket ship, and we had a blast

Upload the picture to Imgur (or any hosting site)

Once it is uploaded, click on the image, right click and select "copy image address"

Come back to TD. Click on the [img] button on the right of the message box. Paste that URL in that popup. Link should end in .jpg or something.

Today's weather looks great but they are going to have to pretty mad at 'em to go tomorrow.
4.5 to 6 foot at 4-5 seconds....Hard pass for me!

I'm hoping the weather forecast for next Tues. & Wed. improves. Sounds like I might have timed it perfect this year but looking like weather will not cooperate

Damn nice Fish!!!
