Trivial, Extremely Bored So I'm Asking Advice on AR Rail Ladders

That's right, I'm asking advice regarding the color of my AR rail covers. Boredom and scotch is an awesome combination!

Anyway, I have a Daniel Defense M4a1 that looks like this, only it has a black B5 SOPMOD stock on it:



Now, the FDE Cerakote finish it came with is very dark, so here's what I'm thinking. Replace the current rail guards with black ones (something more like this):


And that will fit nicely with the Mil Spec+ vertical foregrip I ordered from DD:


Then I'll eventually change the grip, stick to black optics and a black stock. For my next AR I may go down the FDE route (or some other combination, besides I live in Florida, not Afghanistan ), but with this finish it's practically impossible to find matching colors that I like. I can't give you a final picture to evaluate, but you get the idea. What do you think? I think it would look pretty good, but I'm always open to a difference of opinion.
