Choices: KO2 vs toyo m/t

315/75r16

40 ft camper. Extra fuel cell in bed as well as 400 lb hitch in bed. A lot of weight. Same load rating with bfg coming in about 10 lbs lighter per tire. Toyo have thicker sidewall.

Thanks

The BFG ATs can handle that weight much better than the Toyos, I'm sure of it. They are harder tires, tighter tread, better siping, etc. Just better all around for towing. They will last much longer than the Toyos also (probably twice as long).

When it comes to tires, you either need mud tires, or you don't. It's that simple

I agree. I just put a set of those BFGs on my truck. My brother in law is trying to decide. I told him the ko2s. Not sure why the hell he wants to go with a loud arse mud tire on his truck but its his decision. He asked me my opinion, but I do not have experience with hauling shite that big.

People want their trucks to look manly. It's that simple.

Once you DD a truck with Swampers, you know when the proper time to have a mud tire is. Wowowwwoowwwoooww. That's what it sounds like every time you drive somewhere with Swampers. Forget talking on your phone on the interstate. Like I said before, you either need them or you don't. Some people need them to compensate, and some people actually need them.
