Too late to plant food plots for dove? NE TX

What says the OB?

looking for something that is quick maturation to seed heads with minimal prep and ability to seed via broadcast spreader.

I think you want to plant 1/4 of the field at a time over 4 plantings so you have crop coming up over a period of time

That is the first chart I have seen showing Japanese millet with 80 day maturation.

I have it grow and seed in 35

Fwiw. I'll probably plant a wheat field a couple weeks before season.

You can do always go that route
