Wanting to til and plant this weekend (plants, not seeds). Likely squash, tomatoes beans and cucs. Too early yet or not? I see where there will be some chilly days coming up

We planted a few hundred acres of rice today and yesterday. So there's that.

I planted a couple of maters and a couple banana peps yesterday. Even pecan trees are budding so I took a chance.

You probably made a decision. Yesterday morning I drank coffee with some friends who farm. They were saying the farmers who chose to plant may end up having planted in better conditions than them, who will be starting soon.

Mid March has always been what I've done.

ETA: We didn't have much of a winter. And though some cooler days are in front of us, it looks like it'll be good and warm next week. You'd probably be ok.

if you get hit by a frost you just plant again.

No big deal for a small garden

I plowed the greens down yesterday. Tomatoes will go in by the 15th, and peas soon after.

Corn got its' last chance with me last year. I'll buy from the Grey Mule from now on out.

I planted tomatoes a week ago, and then left the country.

If frost kills them then I'll re-plant. But the forecast says that probably won't happen.
