Toledo fly fishing

A bunch of us stupid redfish guys are bringing our poling skiffs up to Toledo to make fools of ourselves. I've done a little bass fishing in the past but never on this lake during this time of year.
It looks like next weekend or first weekend in February. I understand there may not be shallow flats to pole so I've ordered a transducer for my HDS as well as 300 grain depth charge fly line and some clear intermediate fly line.
What do you guys fish with this time of year? Trying to get an idea of what I need to be tying. I'm guessing big heavy weedless baitfish patterns worked in heavy cover? I bought a rattle trap to try and imitate but it don't think I'll be able to get the fly deep enough. Maybe big frog poppers? I'm lost when it comes to bass fishing.

I took my boss who fly fishes a lot to Toledo last year. He caught a few stripping a white/silver minnow pattern as we beat the banks.
This was in the spring, but I'd imagine you could still catch a few going up and down the banks with something like that.
Eta: For what it's worth, I smoked his arse with a fluke and spinner bait.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a C-rig? I might have to borrow a bait casting rig for this one just in case.

What about trash fish? Do any of those flats hold carp or freshwater drum? Carp on the fly is on my list of favorite fish. I would probably take a carp fishery over bones if given the choice.

Possibly carp, but the water will probably be stained. What do they bite that you could throw?

Depends on the species. Common carp will eat little muddler patterns
Sometimes they will eat a leech.
Grass carp are picky little bastards. I've never actually got one to eat but I've caught a bunch by wrapping some green chenille around a hook and dropping it in their feeding path and hoping they pick it up.

I don't have a boat so most of my winter bass fishing is from the bank. That said, getting down super deep is often not possible for me. I've had good luck fishing stuff with bunny tails or similar over/through grass/weeds or just past a drop in depth if there's one I can hit. Rob's patassa, bead headed zonkers, etc. Something that moves even when it is sitting there.
I've also surprised myself with a few on big poppers in the middle of the day. Usually as a result of looking at something and deciding that it would be a real PITA to pull even a weedless fly through and then deciding, "why the hell not?"
ETA - this is generic winter large mouth, I have not fished toledo with a fly rod

I've caught a number of stripers on deceivers and clausers

C-rig, I'm guessing he means Carolina Rig-worm

Oh, I missed that. Yes. South Carolina Rig.

I'd try making some semi-weedless spoons
