Planning on installing some tin for a patio cover in the rear of my house. Targeting sheets of metal (2'x8'~) sections with the ribs you can overlap. How much do these run about? Where could I get them, Lafayette area.

I found Metal Mart in Carencro, not much past that.

You can buy generic stuff at Home Depot or Lowes, but depending on the length you need, you may have to cut or overlap pieces longways to make the span.

I've always been much happier going through an actual metal roofing place. They have heavier gauge, better quality materials, and they can custom cut to any length you want eliminating the need to cut or overlap pieces.

Last time I bought some, I had five or six 18' pieces cut to cover a 12'x16' shed. I think it was $150 or so...

Will be easy to haul in the trunk of a Kia. Buy lots of screws

I suggest going to the following website: www.google.com

A blank field near the center to the page will appear. Place the cursor in the field and type the following: "metal patio roofing lafayette, la"

I don't have any one specific, but as said you definitely are much better off going to a metal roof place and getting them to make you some custom pieces. Not that much more and with less overlapping so will have less chances of a leak.
