I can normally step right off the dock into my boat. Yesterday it was a good 3-4ft lower than my dock!

Why is it so low? It seems like we've been getting the same amount of rain lately

Steady west wind for several days. Blows the water in the lakes out. I live on Conway bayou and it's down to almost nothing.

And yet the spillway at Pigeon is still high as giraffe pussy with no end in sight.

End is in sight. Ohio River at Cairo is falling fast. Mississippi river is right behind.
Spillway is about a month late.

As for tickfaw, we have been having strong west winds all summer. It has stayed low most of the summer.
