Thx for linking the review. My two observations :
1. Given it's size, the M42 should've been chambered in 9mm instead of 380. For me, the only use of a 380 is as a pocket gun. The M42 appears to be much bigger than the Kahr P380 or Ruger LCP; I doubt the M42 would fit as well in all pockets as do the typical 380's like the Kahr and Ruger.
2. Ironic how the M42 had a failure to feed on round #2 out of the same mag…..not ONCE……but TWICE. Now, we all know that any semi auto can have a malfunction, but some would have every believe that Glocks never have a malfunction. Further shooting would be needed to know whether the problem is mag or gun related. Nevertheless, a good reminder that a any gun/mag combo can malfunction.
My bottom line, I'm not interested in the M42. I 'd be interested in looking at a Glock M42 type gun that's chambered in 9mm.

Shop here in Columbus Georgia just posted on their Facebook page that they got 2 in today. Sticker price is $550 on theirs....
I never was a Glock fan and the price gouging that goes on for them just reaffirms that. I just bought my wife a Walther PK380. Actually a pretty smooth shooting little pistol.

Partially, but if I was a true fanboy I would have already bought that pointless 380 to replace my LCP. If it was the size of an LcP I would've sold mine and got the glock.
