Girl at work is selling this cheap. She does not know anything about it. I'm looking for a starter bow that I can use to shoot some coyotes in the back yard.

My question: is this a youth bow? It looks small to me but I do not know anything about bows.

She said it is a PSE super G bow.

It's a 70lb pull. Definitely not youth.

How cheap is cheap?

Not a youth bow.

Needs some string dampeners for sure. My buddy had one like that and killed deer and hogs with it.

Bow limbs are adjusted in 10# increments ... This bow will likely adjust from 60-72# max.

Single cam bow as draw length looks adjustable with rotating cam , perhaps from 27.5" to 30"

You need to have the bow looked over by a competent professional to make certain the limbs have no cracks and bow has never been dry fired. You need to be properly fitted for the bow

If a new string is needed, be prepared to drop $100 for custom strings and tuning
If the current arrows are to short for your draw length, it could easily cost you $75-$125+ depending on arrow brand and model

Does the bow include a release ? If not then it could set you back $50-85+

If you decide to purchase, I highly recommend you get a quality target to shoot field pts and broad-heads

Archery and bowhunting is a blast but like anything "hunting", it costs $$$$ to get started and to do it right

Can I bring it to the archery place at Cabela's for a look over?

The girl selling it said she found the bow and case in her front yard 3 weeks ago. Does not have a clue where it came from. Her husband does not hunt so she said she will sell it to me.

Sounds like a bullshite story.

But for $50, get it. Take it to a real bow shop. Not cabelas. Maybe spillway sportsman or bowies. Let them look it over. You might be out anotber $100 in tune up/accessory purchases, but it will be a good deal as long as the limbs on the bow are good

Sounds like it is stolen.

I don't know much about bows but that seems really cheap.

Come on guys. I expect this from the OT but not here.

The girl has the exact same job as me. I know what she makes. She lives in a very nice house in a very nice sub division. Why would she sell a bow for a misealy 50 dollars? It does not make any sense. I know for a fact she did not steal the bow.

Maybe the bow was stolen and then ditched in her yard. Or I think it fell out of someone's truck on the road and somebody walking found it and put it in her yard since it was the closest by the street. But either way I do not know.

Well. Since you posted the serial number I checked. It's not registered as stolen.

Buy it.

If you are really concerned about its legit owner. Call your local police dept and ask them if they have had any bows reported lost or stolen recently.
