SIAP, but I went back 4 pages and didn't see it. Although this is from CTD, forgive me as it's but stll encouraging info for 2A supporters. Short version: Magpul has already left CO and is up and running at an undisclosed site, a company that makes 60% of it's parts for Magpul will be moving to stay near Magpul and Hi-Viz has announced it's moving to WY.

I love seeing companies having the balls to really stay true to their word.

This.

More of my hard earned coin will go to them as a result of their stance.

I heard they went to 3 different states so if this happened again they would already be established some where else.

If you buy from them there return address should be on the package correct.

I haven't been keeping up, if I remember correctly Colt is staying put? What about Remington and Beretta?

I think Colt is spinning the AR business into a new unit and moving it to Texas.

Interesting, given that so much of the Beretta products are made overseas they seemed like one that might make a jump out of the country. Someone told me that due to the number of products they sell to the US military they are required to be assembled in the US but I have my doubts if this is true..

IIRC, the contract Beretta signed for the M9 required the guns to be made in the US, hence the Maryland plant. In addition, I think the Nano was made for the US concealed carry market and is currently made only at the MD plant. Also, Beretta's new micro handgun, the Pico, is also US made. Beretta has a pretty strong US presence. The company will be HIGHLY recruited by states other than MD, hoping to court their relocation.
