The deer society Moon Guide legit?

I don't buy into the detailed reports, because how a deer moves on a certain day in Illinois is very different than how a deer moves in Mississippi on the same day. Then you have to factor in weather, wind, barometric pressure, etc. But we have used the moon for years to get a better idea of the hunting. We always see movement on new moons, and you sometimes can catch a buck feeding into the morning hours on a full moon. That has been our experience at least.
