Looking at getting a new TM. Everything I have is Lowrance. What’s the good/bad about them.

I’ve had two. Both been very reliable. They squeak a little. At first it bothered me pretty bad, and now I don’t even notice. If you have power poles you can use extra buttons for up and down.

Get some Yamalube and spray the pivot points. I have to do mine a couple times a year.

The motor is bad arse. Prop sucks if you fish shallow and beat it on wood like I do. I break them often but recently I stopped replacing it. Pair it with a HDS Live and you can control it with your MFD.

Don't ignore the set up steps. Calibration, keel offset, ECT.. spot lock will back you up a few feet if you engage it before coming to a complete stop. For the most part I have been happy with mine.
