Couldn't pass up the academy deal where you purchase this gun and get the heritage .22 revolver for free. More of a gun novice than most on here. Any thoughts?

I'll give you my 2 cents. I bought one for my wife when she first started getting into shooting and just learning guns. I didn't like the trigger when we first looked at it but that was about it. Through several hundred rounds I really, really don't like the trigger and neither does she. Other than that, gun operated flawless. To me it's all what you are good with and the price at Academy is a little high but I think receiving the heritage offsets that.

I've owned 2 and like both. Ever had a problem. It does have a long trigger pull however. It's a great budget gun though.

Thanks, Figured I was getting pretty much what I paid for. Was just curious about y'alls thoughts.
