Surf Fishing Grand Isle

Any reports on the surf fishing at GI. Going down this weekend and was looking for a report.

Bring crab nets if you're determined to catch something in the surf. We caught 31 dozen crabs and zero fish in three days.
Did catch a few off the pier at sand dollar though

A few the first two days, only one on the last day. Of course I wasn't counting those

We were fishing pretty much the same water as the surf guys. They were catching a few, but the fishing seemed to be better on the far side of the rocks. For us, it was live shrimp or nothing.
