Surf Fishing Grand Isle Reports

Any one catch anything in the surf today? Thinking of heading down and fishing the surf in the AM.

I was there recently, try topwater for the first hour or so then switch to plastic

Had a few padnuhs there today. Caught lots but mostly small pencils.

Went yesterday and caught 10 small keepers in a couple hours.

Very slow bite, on live bait on island is croakers or pogies. No live shrimp. Caught a few 2lbers between 5:45 and 6am
