Recently restrung my brothers old bow (Bear Attack) and did not thing to add string silencers at the time. I have it sighted in now and am wondering if the silencers will change the string velocity enough to have to worry about. Obviously I could shoot it and resight, but time is of the essence. . .
No, I'm not shooting gnats at 20 yards by any means

Shouldn't been enough to notice if any.

have wondered the same thing since I am just too lazy to resight.

Any weight added to the shot cycle will change your arrow speed but a couple of the little string leeches won't change it enough to throw you off, especially if you're using a regular big-pin, fixed-pin sight.

I used to do use string silencers but no matter how many fricking strings I tied around the end of the rifle, the bullet still broke them and made a loud noise. I just gave up
