Thinking about changing my plans from Grand Isle to Cocodrie in hopes of missing out on some of the crowd down there.
If the forecast holds true, though, that may end for a while this weekend. Winds are supposed to be light out of the east and southeast, and that will greatly help with the water situation.
In addition, we're approaching the June full moon, which is on Sunday, and tidal ranges are really high. There should be another push of shrimp out of the marshes this weekend, and that will inspire some feeding frenzies.
