Our old lease was divided into 5 zones on the map and each stand in that zone was numbered. So in 1 there was 10, 11,12, etc. in 5 there was 50, 51, 52,etc. and so on and so forth

The don't cross that ditch ditch got it's name because a guy that hunts with us spent the entire morning talking about how nobody should ever try to walk across that ditch because it's impossible/stupid. Said 100 times that morning "just don't cross that ditch"

He then tried to cross it at about 8 that morning

Haha that has happened at another lease I was in. Guy did his own trigger job on a 30-06 jam master . Took it off of saftey and...... Boooom blew a hole in the roof .... We left that one called Bruce's stand(his name) so he had to explain the story everytime some one hunted it
