Getting ready to cash in all holiday gift cards and buy a gun safe. Tired of hiding guns throughout the house. Are any of yall happy with their Stack On brand safe?

Depends what you are expecting to get out of a gun safe

It's essentially a filing cabinet. You could definitely do better, not sure about worse.

I have one sitting in my breakfast room. It is essentially a gun cabinet. I do not expect it to provide any security at all since I could get into in less than 30 seconds with a regular screwdriver. I got mine simply to keep my guns handy for varmint shooting off my back porch. I get a lot of coons and possums sniffing around my chicken coops at night so I can sit on the porch and reduce their populations. Anyway, Stack on is a very cheaply made, low quality product. They do look ok though and the small one I bought serves my purpose. Just know what you want and spend the money to get quality if you are looking for security.

I am looking at the 24 gun combination safe. Weighs 450#, fire rated at 1400 degrees for 30 min, 830.00 at Bass Pro

Tbh, I've never seen Stack Ons bigger and heavier than those in Academy, that sounds interesting,,,, BUT, in that price range, look at Champion, see if they have something that might compare??

Haven't seen these in person, been looking on Bass Pro website, have some money to play with regarding these gift cards, and can't really find anything else there that I need.

Got the 28 gun from Sam's club and it's close to 600#s. Just as nice as my buddy's 24 gun cannon. It was 600$ at Sams
