I'm looking for one that I can plug in instead of permanently mounted up front with:

A clip to temporarily attach to my trolling motor or something

Electrical cord needs to 15' or so.

Whatcha got.....pretty sure someone has something like this.

TIA

I have a PEAK brand from Sears and it quit on me after 5 minutes of use. I took it apart and the wire had broken internally at the switch. I plan to solder it back on tonight.

While it was working, it was nice and bright but if it hadn't of been almost free I wouldn't have bought it. It is the 1 million Candlepower Halogen bulb model that they were discontinuing in favor of the LED version.

As for your 15 feet cord, I would install a second power outlet at the bow instead of fooling with a 15 foot long cord.

I bring two of these when I go bowfishing. You can get them for around the same price at Walmart in the automotive section.

I saw that one at Lowe's Sunday. I appreciate some of the suggestions such as installing an auxiliary plug up front.

I looking for max brightness that I can control (like narrowing the beam of light if needed) instead of lighting up the entire lake/river.

This was an easy fix last night. the negative wire that runs through a little push buttin switch was soldered in place but without any insulation or covering so it corroded very fast and snapped off. I re-soldered and covered with liquid electrical tape. I then used some glue to fill the area around the switch and the wire. Should prevent any movement. I expect this one to work for a good while now.
