I don't remember the guys name. He lives right off of I-49 between Opelousas and Lafayette. There is a sign in his front yard. It's been a few years.

Plott hound
Treeing walker/black n tan/bluetick
One of the terriers
There's so many tree dogs out there. Pick up a full cry magazine if you ever see one.

Best squirrell dog I ever had was a border collie. I have owned feist dogs and have hunted with all kinds of squirrell dogs and nothing compared to that dog. I would kill a sack full every time we went hunting.

I was once offered $3000.00 for that dog and turned it down.

my BMC's great grandpa was the first cur on the cover of the mag or so i was told.

several of those dogs were a lot bigger than i am looking for.

a plott? dude, i would love one for a hog dog. great breed. an indoor squirrel dog, not so much.

I hunt with a Jack Russel. I really like this breed. They hunt hard and fast and are very smart. I have two male puppies that are 4 weeks old. They are half Jack Russel and half Rat terrier. email me barbosteve@yahoo.com

I had a plott/BMC cross that turned out to be a very badass squirrel dog after I gave her away. I just didn't have the time to fool with her enough.
