Spider Lilies - signs of Fall

I love seeing these pop up since it gets me into that Fall feeling. My sister has one out already. I've seen none yet in my area,

I always referred to the hymenocallis as spider lilly




but the lycoris radiata is pretty too.

In my neck of the woods we always called them "hurricane lilies"

My Antique Amaryllis bloomed about a week ago... No movement from my Spider Lilies.

I have spider lilies, but they look like this and bloom in spring and summer.

Most of mine have come up and already died. A couple are still up. Seemed fast to me.

Mine were transplanted from bulbs. If you see a good stand, go dig around.
