Speck Fishing - Lake Charles

Going trout fishing next weekend with a buddy in Lake Charles - we went in October and caught limits daily. He supplied all the tackle, I was thinking about replacing some of that tackle this trip but didn't really pay to much attention to brand or style of plastic we were using. If I remember correctly they were some style of grub, most almost an opaque body with a fluorescent tail. We did fish some with live shrimp but mainly plastics. One other fluorescent bait he had was in a gulp container. Any recommendations on what I can take to replace some of his baits I used last time?
