How often should the spark plugs be changed in a 70hp 4 stroke Yamaha?

I've never changed the plugs in my 2009 DF175
they are clean as a whistle

Pull the plugs and inspect them. If they look like they need to be changed, change them. They will likely be perfectly fine out to a couple hundred hours.

these are essentially car motors in these outboards. They are under no more stress than your vehicle is.
