Someone who owns a savage axis 30-06...

Can you do me a favor? After every shot, the magazine pops out of the well. Not all the Way but enough to prevent a follow up shot. I think the retainer tab bent in my bag. If you would be so kind as to upload a photo of your magazine I would appreciate it.

Well both the ones i have are not 30-06. They were 25-06 and 22-250... here is the mag out of the 22-250, they all look the same. Hope this helps

I have a savage axis in 708 it's a little tough to get the clip all the way in make sure you're starting out with it firmly in place

Thanks. Helped a lot. I got it bent back now. Only took a little bit. I kept thing that little tab was supposed to be sticking out more but it was actually the whole end that was bent. It's locked in pretty good now. We'll see when I take it to the range again.

Might have landed on that lip/flange when it first dropped. Might not have been seated firmly, hopefully fine now.

ive never dropped it but it was in my bag with other ammo and gear. I tend to throw my bag around a bit. Not anymore. You saved me $40
