I worked at a gunshop in SE Atlanta for a few years in the late 90's. It wasnt a great neighborhood but we were also the highest volume seller of high end firearms in the State. So my day was spent selling European doubles as well as Lorcin and Davis Industries POS to the locals.
Back then that 9mm cost roughly $75-100 retail and seldom a day passed that I didnt sell at least one of them. Sometimes several in a given day. In the days leading up to Y2K I sold dozens.
The customer would typically want to buy ammo as well and if they asked for more than one box of ammo I'd usually tell them to save their money and come back if the gun made it through the first box.

So is this like a HI points step child?
I found one when I was helping my parents move, and it basically fell apart when I put it down on the table

How long have you worked at Bowie?

Don't laugh...I have a .25 Lorcin. It stays in an unlocked camper in the woods under a stack of paper plates in case someone didn't bring a pistol and doesn't feel safe sleeping in the woods without one.

Can I see that 1911 in the center there?

When I read Lorcin, I knew it was a POS generally passed around in the netherworld on the streets.
