Been hearing trees snap and saw one just across the street from me hit the ground. Know I have a shite load of fire wood to cut.

I was thinking that. But shite, I know that the heavy equipment will have to be brought in to clean my place.

I'm sure there must be 20-30 50+ year old trees down.

It happens every storm like this. And people want to own land. I just hope I didn't loose to many pecan trees. I know I lost a shite load of this years crop. Last time cost me more then 15k in pecans.

We are still getting pounded. It has been raining very hard with strong winds for the last 12 hours. At least the power is back on...

Left the boat in Belle Chasse, filled with water ad rocked back on skeg guard rather than tongue. Aunt checked it and said it appeared to rock gently enought that skeg, prop, lower unit were not seriously damaged.
