Engine trouble kept us off the water Wed. Rough conditions kept us close in Thursday. Wanted to get about 20 miles off Fourchon , but stayed about 6 miles off. Came home Friday. HAd to settle for 23 mangroves and 1 red snapper. F###K NOAA

Went out Memorial Day for some Louisiana State Snappas

Dove Thursday and Friday this week in the slop and shot some big ones. Could have loaded the boat but was looking for 20+ pounders only

Were y'all in a whaler?

We tried to go out of Fourchon on Thursday but had to turn back and the same Friday. A contender came behind us but turned around too. Another year of not being able to fish federal season.

We were in a 23' Sailfish. We got beat up going from GI to fourchon. It was not fun being tied to a rig.

We were out there Friday. It smoothed out a bit once we got 40+ miles out, but it was still rough.

I'm still a little sore

They are big and hungry, but like you said, you will take an arse whipping to get them.

FTR chatter around the dock was that they MIGHT give us some more days since they ended up naming that storm in the gulf.

Had no idea that George St. Pierre was a snapper fisherman. Who wudda thunk it...figured he was more into ice fishing.
