Friend of mine sent me this photo taken on his Mom’s property around BR. Can anyone identify the type of snake? Snake wasn’t harmed, but she wanted to know if it was dangerous for future. Thanks in advance!

Good garbage cleaners to have around actually. I see those in my yard sometimes. Patterns can vary a bit though.

Pretty much as good as having a king snake around. They won't bother you but they will kill a lot of unwanted pests.

Ok, I now see that everything you post on this website is intentionally retarded. Thank goodness.

Yep. Grey Rat Snake. They can get BIG. Easily 6+ feet. There would be 4 or 5 hanging out in my grandpa's barn at any given time. They were snagging the rats and mice getting in the feed. Heard a squeaking one time under a piece of tin. I lifted it up and there was a rat snake with a pink baby mouse in its mouth and 3 little lumps in its belly and one bigger lump at the bottom. Wiped out momma first and then slowly worked its way through the kids. Nature is ruthless.
