Apologies fellas. not sure why I had green tips on the mind. I fixed the title.
This came out in the BR business report, so take that for what you will. Looks like the current chief is trying to cover his arse from a perceived lack of accountability from his predecessor. I'm not LE, or FED, but I would assume that the "donation" from the marshals service would be that of the older inventory in their stockpile? Something like the old dusty pallets hanging out in the corner of the warehouse?

Who knows. Maybe the feds needs free up space so they can buy new rounds. Like they had to spend the money at the end of the fiscal year before they lost it.

I don't know how I feel about this. I do know that I'm glad that I'm "allowed to" purchase that same ammo.
