Shrimp near Hwy 1

Thinking about heading down and fishing the side of the road off Hwy 1 near Grand Isle. I've never really been this time of year so I'm wondering if it's hard to find bait shrimp. I'm assuming several places should be open and selling but just wanted to have a plan if not. Thanks in advance for any help.

When are you going? Thus afternoon or in morning. Not many places open in Sunday's this time of year. Where do you live?

Coming from Hammomd area. Staying with family for the holidays. Decided to head down for a day before going home. Plan on leaving very early in the morning.

T-Pops in Golden Meadow usually has cochahoes and bait shrimp.
