In before Schmidt and Bender and Zeiss hensoldt are recommended.

Euro optic, liberty optics, and of course sport optics/interstate guns in Hammond are all great places.

If close enough, I'd run to Hammond and talk to Jay, he'll set you up with everything you need in your budget.

I have this on my 7 mag. Good scope for the price. Glass is made in the Philippines but there is not a better warranty than vortex.

Put this up beside several scopes before I made the decision & was clearer than anything they had

No, that diagram is just showing you the distance between those MOA's.

Personally, I don't care for the illuminated reticles unless you plan on using night vision. You do run a small risk of the battery corroding while the rifle is put up in the safe and destroying the scope. So I just took the battery out of my scope.

It represents the subtensions in moa. Those are the spaces between marks in the reticles. Use them for ranging and getting the size of targets.

Not just any nightforce, you have to have the most expensive model and let them beat it on a counter for you.
