Shimano reels at Academy - maybe fake news

Check online for "Your store". Just got a Curado K for $119 and an SLX for $56. Sorry Ellik guys-that appears to have been the last Curado at that price, but may be more SLXs.

Looks like this was a bust. While it said "in stock", both items have been cancelled.

The website let me order a Curado 200K right hand in 5.1.1. for $119. Paid for it and got a conformation - 45 min later they called and said it wasn't actually in stock and canceled the order.
Bummed because I pick up 1-2 per year to build my collection any time I find them on sale.

I use 5.1.1 for slow rolling spinnerbaits and big crank baits.

Looks like it's worth checking from time to time. I checked the local store and they claimed to have one K left. Got it for $85. It's the 5.0, so I might try to find a cheap gear set on eBay.

You can easily swap gear sets.
Slow cranking and big spinnerbaits you got that.
When need a faster ratio just slap the other gears in it.
