Haven't been fishing since before teal season started up so out of the habit a little bit. Neighbor was looking to go tomorrow so I said sure why not. Any ideas on where I should fish with water temps in mid 50s. I've been hearing with a north wind the ship channel passed lebeoufs cut would be good or take the ride out to muscle bay. I just don't know if they will be searching for deeper water and I should be fishing some of the deeper holes in crooked bayou. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated.

You can find fish at any of the cuts dumping out of the marsh into the ship channel right now. Falling tide is best. Right now it's high early then fall throughout the day. You don't have to go early. Just bump cut to cut until you find them. If they stop biting, leave and go to the next one.

Chalmette is pretty good right now too but it's a mad house over there.

Thanks that's exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully it isn't blowing to crazy hard in the morning and we freeze our arse off but we will see

I've been thinking about making a trip myself. Are they still biting on artificial or want the live bait?
