Landscaping experts of TD...
I have a small area that is really shaded upon which I plan on putting some flagstone pavers or something similar. I live in New Orleans so I believe we are considered zone 9. Since the area is a bit wide, I want to surround the pavers with some type of shade tolerant ground covering. I already have monkey grass all over the yard so I was hoping for something a bit different.

Thanks!

Bromeliad makes a great lower shelf cover. Maybe some carpet moss if you can get your hands on it.

Second this. I have it on the north side of my office between the building and an 8 ft wooden fence and it is doing fine.

I put down some cast iron plants in my backyard where it doesn't get much sun and they are working out pretty good.

They take a little while to spread but are also pretty hardy for cold weather. They also look alot nicer than monkey grass.
