I got 9 out and scouted the rest of the day. It's still a little too wet and I wasn't in a hurry to set in mud. Gonna check those in the morning and try to get out 20 or so more. I will keep setting til I get 50 or 60 out.

I figured I would update this thread every day with what I do or don't catch if you guys give a shite?

This is a flat set I use mainly for coyotes but I catch fox and bobcats in it to.

First I dig the bed out and drive the cable stake in the bed.

Then I bed the trap. The trap CAN NOT move when finished

I sift dirt over the trap to cover it

I then will place a stick or rock as backing and place the lure where the polyfil is. The leaf is where the pan of the trap is located.

For coyotes I only use one lure and this one set. I use different sets and lure for fox and bobcats. I'll post ya'll some picture tomorrow of them.

I am trapping my hunting club to get rid of a few varmits. I am gonna try and sale the coyotes live and skin everything else. Southern coyotes aren't worth skinning.

For coyotes I use a gland lure called Yodel Dog

Bobcats I use my own made gland lure, Fox hollow's GH II and Voodoo and Kaatz Bros Evanesce are my main go too lures.

Grey fox I use smoked pork. I do have my own lure but I haven't tested it yet. I will be trying it out this year to see how it does,

Red fox I use Evanesce.

I have a few other lures I mix in from time but these are the main ones. I use Coyote, Bobcat and Red fox urine at all sets except for grey fox.

Find someone selling young chikens.
Build a sturdy little cage with wire they cant stick their paw in or tear apart and stake it to the ground.
Put 2 or 3 traps around it.
I did this and caught 2 Bobcats, 2 Coyotes, several possums, and a Chicken Hawk.

I trapped mink and coon in Jr. High. Got caught by one of my 1 1/2 coil springs. Felt bad man.

Someone stole almost all of my traps, and I was forced to gicve it up.
