My gf took several pistols.frommher parents home. Her Mom went to the hospital and her Dad has alzheimers. I Didnt want any weapons in the home around her Dad. She brought home 4 pistols. A 357 Magnum Smith and Wesson from the late 80's, a Smith and Wesson 38 special from the late 50's (blued) a Taurus titanium 38 special from the late 90's and a .22 automatic Sterling from the late 80's.
I dont really want any of them because I have plenty of weapons (guns).
Where and how do I go about selling these?

Hopefully you'll invest some of the profit in a quality english/grammar program..

That’s just a disgrace.

If you so happen to marry this girl pass them down to your children. I am sure they would love something from their grandfather.

If you have no intentions of marrying her, then give them to her so she can give them to her children when the time is right.

You can never have too many guns. If you don't need the cash, why sell them? Put them away in a safe and forget about them..

What happens when she has kids one day, with your or someone else and those grandkids don't get passed down family guns. Save the guns.

There sure is a lot of what you want involved in this. What does the family want?

I'm all on board with this line of thought but he has power of attorney over their parents. He made her take the guns here from Oklahoma and now wants them back a week later. Very strange

I understand he might be a dead beat, but he still has more of a right to those guns then you do. You aren't even family. Frankly I don't think you should be making any decisions regarding the guns.

I just gave you some direction.

Their family needs to be making these decisions, not you.

I offered money for the 357 Magnum but he wants to take the guns to a gun show and sell them. I have a gun value book and offered him what the book said its worth but he still wants to sell them himself. Ohh well.

If that is the case then it sucks, but you are going to have to let this go. I might mention to you GF that any potential son she has might want the gun as a family heirloom. But if she doesn't really go for it then that's probably the end of it. Which would be a shame.

Not sure where to fence stolen guns but you had better save the money for bail for felony theft.

I would return them ASAP and take down this post.
