I'm looking for a deep V center console in the 22 foot range and I'm liking these two brands.

Any reason one wins out over the other?

I don't have any personal experience with either. They are both respected brands.

Are you looking for used or new?

Uncle has a older sea hunt
He was telling me about a video of them dropping hull from like 20" ft in air

I would take into consideration how close each dealer is located from where you will store the boat.

Trailering a boat an hour or two each direction sucks every time you have to get maintenance or warranty work done.

Post the links to each model and we can see the difference in their layouts.

Pretty sure that video is of a Sea Hunter not Sea Hunt. Big difference.

Dad had a 22' Robalo deep V and I know that he loved it and was very pleased with it. I was way younger when we had it so I don't really have much input on it.

Both can be serviced relatively close to me. I'll work on the links.

Easy! Robalo 10x better built boat with a 10X resale value. Price around for used boats to see.

I have a 2006 sea hunt triton 22' with 225 etec. Been 40 miles out and up in the marsh. I would like a bigger baitwell. Other than that no complaints.
No experience with the robalo.

My buddy's dad has a Robalo he bought back in the 70's. At its time this boat had to top on the line. It's dated but still looks fairly nice.

Looks like the transom of the Robalo is pushed forward which tKes away from fishing room. Are those two your only choices?

I like them both. Do you have another brand in mind?

I've got the 21 foot Sea Hunt Ultra; it's been a fantastic boat; I also have the Yahama F150; perfect motor for it; super efficient; I would look into the new 4 cylinder F200 for the 22 footer though.

I have the bxt 22 with 150 four stroke. I have thought about getting bigger motor but unsure the cost to upgrade will be worth it.

How fast does the 225 push your boat? I can get 42mph with another person and fishing gear.

It would probably make more sense to sell your boat and buy another one.
