Hit the marsh in Anahuac this AM. Most teal I think I have ever seen outside of a rice field. Saw maybe 5,000+.

36. 6 guns. Done in about 40 minutes. It was sick...

Was kinda slow for us in SWLA but had a blast.
Should tomorrow be better with this front coming in ?

We had similar experience with drake. We hunted with his guide Anthony, who was a riot! We quit saying we saw birds unless they were decoying- so many!

My dog got some solid work picking up birds.

Thank you Marc for recommending them!

10/4. We going to make the trip regardless but it would be nice to shoot a few birds.

No, I wanted to but was in Scottsdale for a bachelor party. You are just doing guided hunts this year?

My dad went down to the ranch this weekend and said the doves are in there. Opening weekend down there should be a slaughter.

Yeah, didn't want to rejoin BHC. Place I looked at in Winnie was $1,500 for one 40 acre pond.

I'm just trying to get my dog as much work as possible.

Let me know when you want to run down South for that public hunt.
