Scouting a WMA

do you need a wma permit or license to go scouting on a wma?
no hunting just early morning scouting?

as far as i know, yes. You would need to get that little paper pass to be on the WMA. Could be wrong though.

damn a friend just asked me to go scouting in the morning... but i havent gotten my license for this year yet.... i wonder also would you have to wear hunters orange since its dear season

yeah but on the self clearing permit it says berry picking and sight seeing.... surely u cant need a permit for those activities..

just print it off the internet. you can print out those permits easy at home and sign them. YES. Wear orange. And you dont need a hunting license if you don't have a weapon.

yeah. how could you possibly be hunting if you have no form of weapon. for example, duck hunting: you can only kill a limit for every gun in the blind (of course only one gun per person).
