Scope recommendations?

Why would you mount another rifle to your rifle. I would do a 12 GA instead, mix it up a little. The .270 will take care of the targets out to your max of 250yds. Then you can use the 12GA for close range. Plus, a 12ga fits your budget better.

Before I go all smartass, you want a scope right? Or do you seriously want to mount a rifle to your rifle?

I agree with Prop. First, get a Tuff Force quad rail muzzle brake.
Then, buy 3 picatinny-to-picatinny adapters. Next, buy 3 Chiappa Triple Threats and drill and tap them. Attach Nightforce picatinny rails to them, then use the adapters to mount the Chiappas to the bottom and sides of the muzzle brake
The rifle is perfect for long range engagements, and you have 9 barrels of 3.5" 12ga for CQB

If you are serious about hunting, NEVER skimp on the optics....Go with a Leupold or a Vortex

Schmidt & Bender is the threshold for decent scopes.

It's a good idea to get as many accessories onto your muzzle device as possible, that way you always know where they are for rapid transition.

Schmidt and bender still makes good stuff but they are hardly head and shoulders above the rest like they once were.
Vortex with the gen 2 razors put a huge dent in that. Kahles and Steiner have put out some good stuff(not the t5xi or whatever). also. Leupolds high end stuff is even pretty nice despite what anyone wants to admit.
Bushnell believe it or not has improved their scopes by like a million times over the past few years. Still not the quality of the high end scopes, but my HDMR(one of the first ones with the g2 reticle) had been rock solid out with no issues. Not a safe queen either.
While the 5-25 S&B might have been the favorite 5-10 years ago. The others have listened to the customers and given what they wanted. Why S&B would stop doing the illumination removals for left handed shooters is just a testament to that. They don't listen to the people buying their stuff. Maybe they started again, but that is one reason I'll never buy one.
No real point to this. The basketball game sucks.

Joke was referring to the S&B. I have never watched a basketball game in my life. Gotta admire your passion though.

Ya, I got caught up and pissed off at the game. Wasn't really reading anything.
And I don't even like basketball.
