Looking at buying one for deer hunting. Doesn't have to be new... what is a good brand/model? Definitely need something with a bed on it.

I have two Polaris Rangers bought new in 2001 and 2007 and they both still run fine. The 01 has the straight bar rear suspension and will rattle your teeth but it runs fine.

I'm looking to get the crew seat Kawasaki Mule diesel. The rear seats fold up and it extends the metal bed. Plus I'm trying to get all over to diesel but they aren't cheap.

But for the money the Polaris are hard to beat.

I like the Mules. I don't see why someone would rather a ranger or any of the sportier SxS over the Mule other than trail riding. It seems the Mule is the workhorse option. But I've never owned one.

Do they make a mule that is not a diesel?

Yes. I think the diesel is the exception. Most of them are gas I believe.

LINK

They make a bunch that are gas and we'll, the Mule was about the first out there and really is the benchmark. But they have several others that are good. I want diesel because I have diesel tractors and lawn mower and a diesel skid tank so I'll pay more just to not have to keep dragging five gallon cans of gas.

I couldn't be happier than I am w my little Ranger mid size.

Prob will have wanted the full size in a few years when kids get older

But I love the tighter turning radius, it carries everything I need and is reliable and smooth.

I'm getting that one when I break down and spend it. The rear seat folds making a nice long bed. And the beds are metal too.

At our camp we have an older 500 ranger and a newer 700. the 700 sure is a lot more fun to drive to the stand

Anyone have the Polaris ace? Looks like it has the same clearance as the four wheelers.

I had a Mule 610 4x4 and it ended up being a POS. I think it was a 2010 model.

Front plastic bumper cracked, attachment point for the front suspension cracked. Also sat too low to the ground for serious trail use, it bottomed out several times crossing creeks, etc. I never really even drove it that hard.

No idea how the new ones are but I would probably get a Polaris or one of those John Deere rigs

Mine is a 2015. I doubt I ever find myself on a four wheeler again.

There is 3 answers to this question.

Can-am 1000
Honda 1000
New mule ranch edition.

You couldn't give me a Polaris anything. If Yamaha ups there CC's then I would consider them also.
