Buck was shot on private land connected to Indian Bayou USACE. ran into the reserve and couldn't find it. Hunter asked ranger for help to retrieve deer. Ranger agreed and they both had rifles. Found buck in some thick brush. Hunter didn't have a clean shot, so ranger took the shot and it laid down. I have pics of the deer. 1 with the ranger and 1 of the hunter. Will post tomorrow morning

Hunter who initially shot the buck is the owner of the Canal station in Krotz Springs
