What to expect?

it happens every single year, every single year since time began

the distance is all that changes.

sometimes it comes far enough to cause issues but most years its nothing

every 2-3 years it turns out to be a problem so you hear about it.

How to prepare?

its less of a problem than your coffee getting cold so drink a beer and watch the ball game

I remember fishing from the bank of the river near buras as a kid.

Caught a great mixed bag this time of year. Reds. Sheepsheed. Flounder. Catfish.
