Sako is badass no doubt 85,s & Finnbear are awesome guns.
The Savage will do the same though.

Depends on the buyer and what the purpose of the rifle is. Does a Sako kill a deer any more dead than a Savage? No, but if you're more of a collector and can appreciate the work that goes into a Sako and plan to pass it down through the generations it could be worth it. If you plan on having a rifle that's more of a hunting tool than a piece of art, Savage makes a hell of a shooter.

You mean Sako vs Tikka? If so, the Sako is a higher quality version of a Tikka gun. The people at Sako design both.

It's like asking if a S-class Benz is worth more to you than a CLA Benz.

If I was buying a finely crafted rifle that I wouldn't ever abuse, it would be a Sako

Not really a fair comparison. I don't have a Sako NOR a Tikka. I don't know how I've managed to have killed any big game or varmints over the years. Granted, a Sako is going to be a highly refined, more attractive gun compared to the Savages I have, but I have a hard time imagining the Sako could be more accurate. Whether that's worth $1000 more is a decision each individual will need to make for themself. I guess I've made my decision since I don't have a Sako.

Depends. To me yes but I want a better than average gun. I also like to be able to adjust triggers, drive tacks, and shoot tighter groups.

I also hand lid my rifle ammo. If you are a buy ammo off he shelf, shoot once or twice out of season maybe not.

No I meant savage which can be had in the caliber I'm looking for with an adjustable trigger for ~$550 vs $1500 Sako,

I really like the grey wolf , but I could save the $1000 and spend it on a scope and maybe a new rangefinder.

Or you can pick up Winchester mdl70 or Remington 700 and have a good gunsmith put all the blue printing, muzzle brake, trigger job, and fine tuning into it and have an amazing rifle for less than that Sako.

The sako/tikka are amazing rifles out of the box don't get me wrong, but you can have a better rifle for less spent than the sako. The tikka t3 is probably the best bang for your buck rifle going. Honestly if I were going to buy a new rifle it would be the tikka.

I picked up a stainless and synthetic Sako A7 in .30-06 for $650, wasn't even looking to buy a gun but walked out with it. Extremely happy with it, definitely a tack driver with whatever I feed it, plus it feels much better than the T3.

Savage makes good rifles too.
