Rough idling outboard...things to check?

Lately my 2008 Yamaha 90tlr 2-stroke has been running very rough while idling or at low rpms. The carbs were rebuilt a year ago and non-ethanol gas has been run ever since. First i'm going to change the fuel pump on it, as idk if it has ever been change. (Bought the boat used a few months ago) Going to change all the plugs and then change the water separator. The boat runs great at 2500 or higher rpms, even when idling or at low rpms it doesn't die. Just seems like it isn't running on all cylinders and has a pretty violent shake to it at times. What other things should i check out?

Seafoam worked wonders on my 150 2 stroke that was a bitch at idle. I bypassed tank and ran fuel line a in gas can with 1 gal gas with 1 can of seafoam. Let run for 20 min. Shut her down and let sit for an hour then fired back up. Smoked like a train and a ton of crap flushed out the exhaust and shes purred like a kitten ever since!
I'd do a compression check as well to ensure you dont have a cylinder going out if your getting alot of shake!

Yeah, i had them do a compression check when i purchased it and it all came back good. I think I will give the seafoam a shot.

I came here to say seafoam. if that doesn't work then its a bigger problem

Have you been fishing with Ole Geaux lately, you might wanta face the boat the other direction, as the bad gas from him could be the problem.

My brother just had the same problem with his Suzuki 50 jet.
He replaced plugs, separator/filter, internal hp/lp filters and fuel line. Took care of the problem.
His would idle fine for about 1 minute then start the death shake, sputtering nearly shutting off.

It's probably the plugs, but won't hurt to change everything mentioned.
