Yeah, Romeo was awesome. It's a once in a lifetime thing to see something like that.


Some idiots killed him for the hell of it. Some people just don't have an appreciation for the beauty of life and nature I guess.

Used to be so awesome to hear him howling on cold winters nights on the frozen lake in front of the glacier.

That's really sad. Although the hunters likely didn't know he was friendly, I've never had the desire to shoot an apex predator. For some reason I can shoot deer, hogs, raccoons, opossum all day but I have absolutely no desire to kill a bear, wolf, or mountain lion. These animals are just too beautiful, majestic and rare.

Nah, these guys targeted Romeo. In fact, one guy came up from Oregon for that purpose.

That's pretty sick to target an animal that is loved and revered by a whole city. Almost equivalent to shooting somebody's pet. If true, would be ready to kill that hunter.
