Yea I know that. I was talking more about it getting infected. Cold enough and long enough to heal before heat sets back in the area?

It froze this am and will be in the 50's in the am, with highs in the 60's and 70's. He is limping but is a pretty solid gash. The wound didn't kill him but infection might. He's walking around eating corn like normal.

Yeah, infection would worry me. He would likely be in my freezer.

I saw two nice bucks while feeding the roads heading to the stand this afternoon

My dad just shot an 8 pointer. First deer he's killed in years. I bet he's too young and a buck I had been passing all season. But it's good for him to shoot one, I've never seen him shoot a deer in my whole live
