Yep, I'm getting the same thoughts.

My favorite show was the one with the ginger wrestler. Not sure if it still comes on.

I used to but it's just way too much fluff now. I just want to see him catch big arse fish. I don't really care about mysterious bite marks on a local fishermans testicles. Just fish. Seems like this season only about 5% is actual fishing. Not to mention all the favorite moment episodes aka reruns.

My son, who's autistic, loves watching River Monsters and it's become our 'routine' to watch an episode or two before bedtime.
Aside from that, it's an OK show to watch when nothing else is on.

I still watch it and enjoy it.
The earlier seasons seemed like they were more fishing oriented but it's still interesting to me to see they type of stuff he pulls out of the remote areas.
Without Wade I think this show would be terrible now that they have added the drama element. He is an interesting character and keeps the show going, in my opinion.

I enjoy the show, but it's kind of like watching Charlie Brown at Halloween every year and expecting to see the great pumpkin. Those nut cutting fish were pretty badass.

not crazy about the host or the show's style, but it has given me new reverence for the Amazon River Basin. That place has got some nasty, hostile creatures in it.

If it were a little more Bill Dance and a little less Unsolved Mysteries I would watch more.

Same here. I record it and watch the last 10 minutes just to see what he catches

Watching him catch that 40 pound musky on 6 pound test and a grub after trying to catch one for a whole week of fishing was epic
